What Invistools Is

Invistools is a collection of more than 400 small, single-purpose tools that run inside your web browser. Each one does a single job — resize an image, split a PDF, format JSON, tune a guitar, work out a resistor value, convert a time zone — and it does that job on the page you opened, with no installation, no setup and no sign-up form in the way.

Everything Happens on Your Device

The rule the whole site is built around is simple: your content stays with you. Tools are written against ordinary browser APIs such as Canvas, Web Audio, FileReader and WebAssembly, so the file you choose or the text you paste is handled by code that has already been downloaded to your machine. Files are not uploaded for processing, because there is no processing server to upload them to. You do not have to take that on trust — open the network panel in your browser's developer tools, run any tool, and watch that your content never appears in a request.

No Accounts, No Quotas, No Watermarks

There is no registration, no login and no paid tier that unlocks the real version. Nothing is metered: you can run the same tool a hundred times in a row, on files as large as your browser can hold in memory. Because no account exists, there is no profile, no history and no file archive that could ever leak. The few things the site does remember — your interface language and the tools you starred as favourites — live in your browser's local storage and stay there.

What You Will Find Here

The catalogue is organised into eleven groups: text, images, PDF and documents, audio, music, electronics, time and dates, everyday utilities, validators, esoteric and games. That covers everything from a JSON formatter, a Base64 encoder and an image compressor to a metronome, a chord finder, an Ohm's law calculator, a QR code generator, a stopwatch and a date difference calculator. New tools are added regularly, and existing ones are reworked whenever they turn out to be awkward to use.

Every tool page, category page and description on this site exists in 36 languages, so the interface, the instructions and the search all work in the language you actually think in. Translations are prepared with machine assistance and corrected over time. If you find wording in your language that reads badly or means the wrong thing, telling us about it is genuinely useful.

Who Builds It

Invistools is built and maintained by Invis Matters (https://invismatters.com), an independent studio that develops and runs its own products. Invistools is one of them, funded by the studio itself rather than commissioned by a client — which is why it can stay free, and stay free of accounts, quotas and upsells. Anything sent to the address on the contact page reaches the studio directly.

How It Is Paid For

Running the site costs money: hosting, domains and the hours that go into building each tool. That is covered by the advertising shown on the pages and by voluntary donations from people who find the tools useful. The tools themselves stay free and complete — nothing is held back behind a payment, and your data is never part of the bargain.
