About this tool
This page opens the countdown timer already set to 15 minutes — press start and go.
A quarter hour is the sweet spot for a short study block, a quick nap that will not wreck your evening, oven checks, or a fair timebox for meetings that tend to sprawl.
Want 14 or 25 instead? The full timer takes any minutes and seconds, with pause, reset and a completion sound — no app, no account, nothing leaves your browser.
Example. The form opens at 5 minutes and 0 seconds and displays 05:00. Start runs until 00:00, then the status reads Time is up. and a sine at 880 Hz plays for 0.35 seconds. A zero duration does not start.
Limit. There is no hour field, so 90 minutes display as 90:00. Seconds are clamped to 0–59. A hidden tab jumps to the deadline instead of ticking in the background. The tone does not repeat.
