About this tool
This page opens the data converter preset to CSV in, JSON out — paste rows exported from Excel or Google Sheets, run it and copy the JSON array.
CSV to JSON turns flat rows into an array of objects, using the header row as keys — exactly the shape web apps, APIs, mock databases and import scripts expect, with the delimiter detected automatically.
The full tool also converts to YAML and XML and can emit TypeScript interfaces for the result — everything runs locally, so your spreadsheets never leave the browser.
Example. The JSON text {"name":"Ada"} becomes the YAML line name: "Ada".
Limit. The YAML parser only understands indented key lines and dashes, so anchors, multiline block scalars, and tags are rejected.
