Drag & Drop Audio Here

Choose or drop multiple audio files. The same settings apply to every file.

Order: trim edge silence below −60 dBFS → normalize each file → apply fades. Internal pauses remain. Entirely silent files keep their duration.

Advanced settings

MP3 uses LAME, at most two channels and 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz. Other source rates use the nearest supported rate. WAV bitrate follows sample rate × bit depth × channels.

Without trimming, duration is preserved to the nearest output sample. MP3 includes gapless timing metadata; players that ignore it may add encoder padding.

About this tool

This page opens the audio converter with WAV already selected as the output format — drop your MP3 file, run the conversion and download the finished WAV.

Converting MP3 to WAV decodes the compressed audio into an uncompressed PCM file. You need it when an editor, sampler, CD burner or older piece of software insists on WAV, or when you want to process a track without adding another round of lossy compression.

The full tool also converts in the opposite direction, and everything runs locally in your browser — your audio is decoded on your own device and never uploaded to a server.

Example. A WAV file encoded as MP3 at the 192 kbps setting downloads as an MP3 whose duration matches the decoded source.

Limit. MP3 sample rates are only 32000, 44100 and 48000 Hz, while WAV may also use 22050, 88200 or 96000 Hz, and VBR quality is an integer from 0 to 9.
