This page opens the ratio calculator in convert mode with the fraction output selected: a ratio A : B is rewritten as the fraction A/B and reduced to lowest terms. So 25 : 10 becomes 5/2, and the decimal ratio 2.5 : 1 is first scaled to whole numbers and then reduced to the same 5/2.

The greatest-common-divisor step is shown explicitly, and alongside the fraction you always get the matching decimal and percentage cards — three views of the same relationship computed in one run with exact integer arithmetic.

Turning a ratio into a fraction is the standard first move in probability exercises, in comparing parts of a whole, and in converting sports odds or mixing rules into arithmetic you can actually compute with. If you then need to add or divide such fractions, the site's fraction calculator continues from here.
