This signature generator creates a signature image in two ways: draw it by hand on a canvas, or type your name and render it in a cursive font. Draw mode accepts any pointer — mouse, trackpad, touchscreen finger or stylus — and smooths the raw motion into rounded curves that read as real handwriting instead of jagged line segments. You choose the ink color (black, blue or dark blue), set the stroke width, and fix mistakes with per-stroke undo or a full clear.

Type mode is for anyone who does not want to wrestle a mouse into cursive: enter your name and pick one of three script styles, from classic to calligraphic. The styles are rendered with cursive fonts already present on your device (with standard CSS fallbacks) rather than downloaded font files — an honest trade-off that keeps the tool fast and free of font-licensing issues, at the cost of small differences between operating systems.

The export options are built around real document workflows. The canvas is transparent by design — the checkerboard backdrop only marks the see-through area — so the primary download is a transparent PNG that composites cleanly onto PDF contracts, Word and Google Docs letterheads, email footers and scanned forms. A second button exports the same signature on a white background for applications that cannot handle transparency.

Everything happens locally in your browser using the canvas API: no upload, no account, no watermark. That is worth caring about for this particular tool — a signature is sensitive by nature, and generating one should not involve sending it to someone else's server. Draw it, download it, and the only copy in existence is the one on your device.
