Tiling is the answer to the weakness of corner watermarks — a corner can simply be cropped away, while a repeating pattern overlaps the subject itself, so removing it means repainting the whole picture. Keep the opacity low (15–30%) if the image still needs to be evaluated through the watermark, or raise it for hard protection of previews and proofs.
