Our audio normalizer quickly adjusts the volume to a comfortable level completely anonymously. The entire sound wave processing process takes place on your computer, which guarantees the confidentiality of your files.
The tool analyzes peak levels and average volume, removing sharp drops and making the sound balanced. Among the unusual possibilities is the choice of different normalization algorithms for different types of content.
Example. A clip whose sample peak is 0.5, targeted at −1 dBFS, is multiplied by about 1.7825 so the new peak is 10^(−1/20).
Limit. Gain is a single peak scalar; the dBFS target cannot be above 0 or below −60, and loudness is not matched in LUFS.
