This page opens the average calculator focused on the mode: paste your numbers and the mode card is highlighted in the results, listing the value that appears most often — or all of them, when several values tie for the highest frequency.
The mode has no arithmetic formula — it is found by counting: tally how many times each distinct value occurs and take the value with the highest tally. In 2, 4, 4, 4, 5, 5, 7, 9 the value 4 appears three times, more than any other, so the mode is 4. A list can be bimodal or multimodal when several values share the top count.
This calculator is honest about the edge cases: if no value repeats, or every distinct value repeats equally often, it reports "no mode" instead of picking one arbitrarily. The mean, median, range and full frequency-checked list are computed in the same run, so you get the complete picture of your data at once.
