About this tool
This page opens the dice roller with 2 dice already on the board. Every roll uses the browser’s cryptographic random generator — as fair as a physical throw.
Two dice are the classic board-game setup: sums from 2 to 12 with 7 as the most likely — the mathematics behind Monopoly, Catan and craps.
Need a different count? The full roller handles up to 12 dice, rerolls of selected dice and running totals. It works offline in your browser — nothing is tracked or stored.
Example. A board of two dice shows two faces from 1 to 6 and prints their arithmetic sum. Two sixes total 12; the most common two-die total is 7.
Limit. The count is clamped to between 1 and 12, and every die is six-sided. Each face is (a cryptographic 32-bit word modulo 6) plus 1, so the distribution is extremely close to uniform and not rejection-sampled.
