This page opens the keyboard tester with the spacebar counter highlighted: every hit on the space bar lights the on-screen key and increments the dedicated counter, so you see exactly how many presses register.
The spacebar is the most-used key on the board and usually the first to fail: it can start double-typing (chatter), register only when hit in the center, or stop responding on one side because a stabilizer wore out. Tap it in the middle, on the left and on the right edge, and compare the counter with the number of physical presses you made.
The tester intercepts Space during the test so the page does not scroll, and everything runs locally in your browser through standard keyboard events — nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
