Add Top and Bottom Text to a Meme

This page opens the meme generator in the classic layout: one caption at the top of the image, one at the bottom, both drawn in the bold white, black-outlined lettering that has defined internet memes since the mid-2000s. Upload any picture from your device, type the two lines and watch the canvas update as you write.

The top-and-bottom format works because of contrast: the heavy sans-serif letters with a dark outline stay legible over photos, screenshots and dark or busy backgrounds alike. The font size slider scales the captions relative to your image, the UPPERCASE toggle keeps the traditional all-caps look, and long lines wrap automatically so nothing runs off the edge.
