This page opens the converter set to render only the first page of your PDF. Drop a file and you get a single image of the cover — ideal for a document thumbnail, a preview card, a book or report cover, or a link image, without waiting for every page to render.

Rendering one page instead of the whole document is faster and produces exactly one file to grab. Choose JPG for a compact thumbnail or PNG for sharp edges, and raise the DPI if you need the cover at a larger size. The result appears in the preview grid with its own download button.

As with the full tool, everything runs locally through the pdf.js engine — the PDF is never uploaded anywhere. If you need the remaining pages as well, switch the pages selector back to "All pages" and run the conversion again.
