This page runs the refresh rate test tuned to one question: is this screen delivering 60 Hz? The measured rate appears within a couple of seconds, and the verdict tile compares it against 60 Hz with a ±5% tolerance.

60 Hz is the baseline of the display world — office monitors, TVs in standard mode, most laptops on battery. Reading roughly half of that (around 30 Hz) usually means a struggling cable, a TV set to a power-saving picture mode or aggressive battery throttling. And if you know the panel is 120 Hz or faster yet the test insists on 60, the fix is almost always in the OS display settings, where the refresh rate dropdown quietly defaulted to 60.

Remember what is being measured: the animation rate of this browser tab. A low-power mode, a backgrounded window or a busy machine can hold a perfectly good 60 Hz screen below 60 in the browser — retest with other tabs closed before drawing conclusions about the hardware.
