Shoe sizes are one of the last places where every region kept its own ruler: the US counts in barleycorn-based sizes that differ for men and women, the UK uses the same barleycorn but starts counting elsewhere, continental Europe uses Paris points, and Japan simply labels shoes with the foot length in centimetres. This converter puts all of them side by side: pick the category, enter a size in any system, and you get the matching size in the system you need plus the full chart row across US, UK, EU, JP and centimetres.
The charts are based on the ISO/TS 19407 mondopoint cross-reference and the standard tables used by shoe retailers, with separate rows for men, women and kids — including both child (C) and youth (Y) US kids' sizes. If you know an exact foot length in centimetres, enter it directly: the tool interpolates the measurement to the nearest chart size, which is the most reliable way to start.
One honest caveat: shoe sizing is standardised on paper but not on factory floors. Brands cut different lasts, and the same labelled size can fit up to half a size differently between manufacturers — the tool shows this note with every result. Treat the conversion as the correct starting point, then check the brand's own chart when you can.
Everything runs locally in your browser from static bundled tables: nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and the converter works offline once the page has loaded.
