Set Alarm for 8 AM

Set a wake-up time and get a live countdown, a looping generated melody, a full-screen notice and a blinking tab title when the moment arrives — right in the browser tab.

The alarm rings only while this tab stays open. Browsers may slow down timers in background tabs, so for exact timing keep the tab active or visible.

Browsers allow sound only after you interact with the page — pressing Set alarm is exactly that interaction, so the melody will play.

This page opens the alarm clock with 8:00 in place — press Set alarm and the countdown to eight begins, automatically landing on today or tomorrow. Eight suits the gentler schedules: remote workers whose first meeting is at ten, students with late lectures, weekend mornings that should not drift into the afternoon, or a late shift that still needs a fixed start.

When eight o'clock comes the page raises the alarm in three ways at once: a looping melody synthesised on the spot, a full-screen wake-up notice and a blinking tab title. The melody re-signals every 30 seconds until Stop is pressed, so even a slow Saturday surfacing has a soundtrack that will not give up first.

As with every browser alarm, honesty first: it only rings while this tab is open on an awake machine. Keep the tab visible if precision matters, because background tabs can be throttled. Sound is enabled by the very click that sets the alarm — browsers require a page interaction before audio, and Set alarm is it.
