The pomodoro technique is deceptively simple: work with full focus for 25 minutes, rest for 5, and take a longer break after every fourth session. The hard part is not the idea but the bookkeeping — remembering which interval you are in, when the long break is due, and how many sessions you have actually finished. This timer does all of that for you: press Start once and it cycles through work sessions, short breaks and long breaks automatically.
Every parameter is adjustable. The classic 25/5/15 split is only the default: stretch work sessions to 50 minutes for deep work, shorten breaks on busy days, or move the long break from every fourth pomodoro to every second or sixth. A soft two-tone beep, generated live by your browser's audio engine rather than an audio file, marks every phase change, and the completed-pomodoros counter shows how much focused work the day actually contained.
The remaining time is mirrored into the browser tab title, so the countdown stays visible while you write, code or read in another window — glance at the tab strip instead of switching back and forth. Pause whenever you are interrupted and resume where you left off; Reset starts a fresh day with the counter back at zero.
Like every tool on this site, the pomodoro timer runs entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, nothing is tracked about your work habits, and no account or installation is needed. Open the page, press Start, and the next 25 minutes belong to one task only.
