About this tool
Are you familiar with the situation when you configure a background task (cron job) on the server, write a line like '*/15 4 * * 1-5' and are afraid to make a mistake, because the wrong schedule can clog the database or not start on time?
Our Cron validator will quickly validate your expression and detail the schedule in human language completely confidentially (all calculations are performed locally in your browser).
Just enter an expression and we'll highlight errors, show upcoming launch dates, and write out each field. Among the unusual features is support for non-standard macros and display of the launch calendar.
Example. The expression 0 9 * * 1-5 is reported valid, with minutes 0, hours 9 and day of week 1-5.
Limit. Only 5 or 6 whitespace-separated fields are accepted, and a passing result does not list future run times.
