A favicon is the small icon browsers show in tabs, bookmarks, history and search results — and shipping it properly means producing half a dozen files: classic 16×16 and 32×32 PNGs for tabs, 48×48 for Windows, 180×180 for Apple devices, 192×192 and 512×512 for Android and PWA manifests, plus the venerable favicon.ico. This tool generates the entire set from one image in a single click.

Everything runs locally in your browser. The image is decoded on a canvas, center-cropped to a square, downscaled to each target size with high-quality smoothing, and the favicon.ico container is assembled byte by byte right on the page with the 16, 32 and 48 px versions embedded as PNG entries. No server, no upload, no watermarks — an unreleased logo or client asset never leaves your machine.

Each generated size is previewed at real scale so you can immediately spot whether your logo survives the trip down to 16×16 — small favicons reward simple shapes and strong contrast, and the preview tells you honestly what visitors will see in the tab bar. Every file can be downloaded individually, and the main download button hands you the assembled favicon.ico.

The tool also writes the HTML for you: a copy-ready block of link tags with the correct rel, type and sizes attributes for every generated file. Upload the icons to your site root, paste the block into the head of your pages, and every browser, phone and PWA manifest finds exactly the icon it wants. If you only need one specific size, the size selector (or the preset pages for 16×16, 32×32 and Apple Touch 180) narrows the output to a single file.
