This page opens the gamepad tester with the drift tools front and center: the deadzone circle is switched on automatically and the sticks panel is highlighted, so you can go straight to measuring.
The procedure takes seconds: press any button so the browser reveals the controller, rotate each stick a few times, then let both of them go completely. The crosshair shows where each stick settles and the idle offset prints the distance from center as a number — a healthy stick reads a few thousandths, while a stick resting outside the 10% circle is drifting and will steer by itself in games that use a smaller deadzone.
One honest caveat: games apply their own deadzones on top of the raw values you see here, so a small offset inside the circle is normal wear, not a fault. If the offset is large, repeatable and survives re-pairing and another USB port, the stick module itself is worn — that is a hardware repair, not a settings problem.
