Markdown to HTML renders lightweight markup — headings, lists, links, bold text, code blocks — into the actual HTML tags a browser understands, which is what you need to publish a README, blog draft or documentation page on a website or in an email template.
The full tool converts in the opposite direction as well, from HTML back to Markdown, and everything happens locally in your browser — your drafts are never uploaded anywhere.
Example. The line # Hi in Markdown-to-HTML mode becomes an h1 element whose text is Hi.
Limit. The converter is a small pattern replacer for headings, emphasis, links, lists, and fenced code, so nested CommonMark constructs are not fully parsed.
