Mic Test
Test your microphone online: live level meter, waveform and a record-and-playback check — fully in your browser.

"Can you hear me?" — the question that opens far too many calls. This mic test answers it before the meeting starts: press one button and you instantly see whether the browser detects your microphone and how loud your voice actually is.
The live meter shows the signal in dBFS with a plain verdict (too quiet, good level, too loud), the waveform confirms the mic reacts to your voice, and the record-and-playback check lets you hear yourself exactly as other people would. A device picker lists every connected microphone and refreshes automatically when you plug in a headset.
Everything runs locally in your browser through getUserMedia and the Web Audio API. No sound is uploaded, streamed or stored anywhere: stopping the test releases the microphone immediately, and a recorded clip lives only on your device until you close the tab.
If access is blocked, the tool does not leave you with a blank screen — it explains what happened and shows short, browser-specific steps for Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari to re-enable the microphone.
