The Netherlands has charged a standard BTW (belasting over de toegevoegde waarde) rate of 21% since 2012, and it still applies to most goods and services in 2026. A reduced 9% rate covers groceries, medicines, books and some services — type 9 into the rate field when you deal with those.

Choose add mode to gross up a net quote for a Dutch customer, or remove mode to recover the net amount from a gross receipt — the calculator divides by 1.21 instead of naively subtracting 21%. It all runs locally in your browser and works with any currency.
