This page opens the BMI calculator with imperial units preselected: enter your height in feet and inches and your weight in pounds — no mental conversion to metric needed. The imperial formula multiplies weight in pounds by 703 and divides by height in inches squared, so 5 ft 7 in and 154 lb gives 703 × 154 / 67² ≈ 24.1.
The result is interpreted on the same WHO scale used worldwide: under 18.5 is underweight, 18.5–24.9 is normal, 25–29.9 is overweight, and 30+ falls into obesity classes I–III. Because you are in imperial mode, the healthy weight range for your height is shown in pounds, which makes it easy to set a realistic target without converting units.
The calculation happens entirely on your device — your measurements never leave the browser. Prefer centimeters and kilograms? One click on the unit switch, or open the metric version of this page.
