This page opens the cooking converter preset to grams → cups with flour selected. The conversion divides the weight by the ingredient's density and then by the 240 ml US cup: 250 g of all-purpose flour (0.53 g/ml) is about 1.97 cups, while 250 g of granulated sugar (0.85 g/ml) is only about 1.23 cups — same grams, very different cups.

This direction is what you need when a European recipe lists ingredients in grams but your kitchen only has cup measures. Select the ingredient, type the grams, and the converter returns cups computed from that ingredient's real density, naming the density it used. Milk, oil, honey, cocoa, rice and salt are all covered alongside the baking staples.

A practical tip: results like 1.97 cups are best read as "just under 2 cups", and small remainders convert neatly into tablespoons — 0.25 cup is 4 tablespoons. Because powders compress, treat cup equivalents of flour and powdered sugar as approximations; when a baking recipe is written in grams, that is a hint the author expects a scale.
