This page opens the cooking converter preset to tablespoons → grams with butter selected. A standard tablespoon holds 15 ml, so the weight is 15 ml times the ingredient's density: about 13.7 g for butter (0.911 g/ml), 12.8 g for granulated sugar, 8 g for flour, 13.8 g for oil and a hefty 21.3 g for honey.

Tablespoon-to-gram questions usually come from two places: American recipes that measure butter and oil by the spoon, and nutrition tracking where you want the weight of a spoonful you just used. Both work here — choose the ingredient, enter the number of tablespoons (halves and quarters are fine as decimals: 0.5, 0.25) and press Convert.

Note that this tool uses the standard 15 ml tablespoon; Australian tablespoons are 20 ml, and heaped spoons can carry half as much again as level ones. For butter specifically, US sticks are marked in tablespoons — one stick is 8 tbsp, about 113 g — so converting a few tablespoons to grams lets you cut the right slice off a 200 g or 250 g European block.
