About this tool
This page opens the runes calculator with your current level set to 1 and your target set to 125 — the single most searched-for level in Elden Ring, since 125 became the de facto community standard for balanced PvP invasions, arena duels, and most co-op summon pools. Getting there from a fresh character costs roughly 3.9 million runes in total.
Level 125 isn't an official cap set by the game itself; it emerged organically because it gives every build enough points to hit key soft caps in two or three stats without letting min-maxed glass-cannon builds run away with raw stat totals, which is why so many PvP-focused players and tournament formats settle on it as the standard matching level. Reaching it usually means clearing most of the main story areas and their optional dungeons along the way, since pure farming alone from level 1 would take a very long time.
Change the target level if your group uses a different meta (100 and 150 are also common), or enter runes you are already holding, and the totals and farming-run estimates below recalculate immediately so you know exactly how much grinding stands between you and your next invasion.
Example. Going from level 1 to level 2 with no runes already held requires 673 runes. Reaching level 125 from level 1 costs 3,886,551 runes.
Limit. Both levels are clamped to the range 1 through 713. A target below the current level is raised to the current level. Farming counts divide by the stored yields 40000, 11000, 74000, and 1000.
