This page works as a remainder calculator: enter a dividend and a divisor and it returns what is left over after the divisor has fitted a whole number of times — the value of 1234 mod 56 is 2, because 56 fits 22 times (making 1232) and 1234 − 1232 = 2.
Unlike a bare modulo function, the answer comes with its full justification: the long-division bracket is drawn digit by digit and every step is narrated, so you can see exactly where the remainder appears at the bottom of the working.
