This page opens the paint calculator in direct-area mode for a single wall — the accent-wall scenario. The area is just width × height: a typical 4 m wall under a 2.7 m ceiling is 10.8 m². The door and window deductions are preset to zero; if your wall has an opening, set the count and the standard sizes (1.9 m² per door, 1.4 m² per window) are taken off.

At two coats and 11 m² per liter, a 10.8 m² wall needs right around 2 liters — a single 2.5 L can covers it with a sensible reserve for touch-ups. This is worth knowing before you shop, because the step up to a 5 L can is wasted money and shelf space for a one-wall job.

Accent walls are usually darker or more saturated than the surrounding paint, and deep colors over a light base often need a third coat (or a tinted primer) for an even finish — one extra coat on one wall is cheap, so set coats to 3 if in doubt. Keep the leftover sealed and labeled with the room and color code; retouching from the same can is invisible, retouching from a new batch rarely is. Everything is calculated locally in your browser.
