Percentage Increase Calculator

This page opens the percentage calculator in increase mode: enter a percent and a number, and the tool adds that percent on top, showing the final value and the exact multiplication used — for example 200 + 25% = 200 × 1.25 = 250.

Adding a percentage is how real-world markups work: applying 20% VAT to a net price, granting a 5% raise on a salary, adding a 15% service charge to a bill, or projecting next year's budget at 10% growth. Instead of computing the percent separately and adding it, you can multiply once by (1 + X ÷ 100) — the calculator prints that factor so the shortcut is easy to remember.
