The classic supermarket trap is exactly the example preloaded here: 2.50 for 500 g feels cheaper than 4.00 for a whole kilogram, but normalized it is 5.00/kg against 4.00/kg — the big pack wins and the small one costs 25% more per kilogram. The calculator does that arithmetic for up to four products at once and highlights the winner.
