About this tool
Level 50 sits well past the enchanting cap and into the range players target for anvil-heavy builds, long-term survival goals, or simply the satisfaction of a round number — it's high enough that the experience curve has already shifted into its steepest phase, so the jump from level 30 to level 50 costs noticeably more XP than the climb from 0 to 30 did.
This preset starts the calculator at level 0 and targets level 50, showing the full amount needed from a brand-new character: 5,345 experience points in total. Because Minecraft's XP formula changes shape above level 31, most of that total is packed into the second half of the climb — the calculator's current-XP and target-XP figures make that acceleration visible rather than just handing you one opaque number.
The activities list translates that total into practical farming targets — mob kills, ore blocks mined, smelting operations, and villager trades — so you can estimate how many trips to the mine or how many rounds at a mob farm actually stand between you and level 50, and adjust the current-level field if you're not starting from zero.
Example. Going from level 0 to level 1 with 0 percent progress needs 7 experience points. Going from level 0 to level 30 needs 1,395. A pool of 40,000 XP lands at level 111 plus 373 of the 841 points toward level 112.
Limit. The progress slider only represents 0 to 99 percent of the current level, and the points inside that level are floored. Mob and ore rows use fixed values such as 5 for a zombie, 0.7 for smelting iron, and 3.5 for nether quartz.
