This chart shows only the right hand for C Major, the one scale where the thumb never has to dodge a black key: C, D, E, F, G, A and B are all white keys, and the thumb slides under just twice per octave — into F and again into the closing C.
Because there is nothing to avoid, C major's right hand is usually the first fingering a student memorizes cleanly, which makes it an ideal place to isolate the hand and watch what a thumb-under is supposed to feel like before tackling keys with black notes in the way.
Practicing the right hand alone removes the temptation to let the left hand's mirrored motion smooth over a shaky crossing — once the pattern is even at speed, add the left hand back in on the full tool page or open the matching left-hand-only chart.
