D Major — Left Hand Piano Fingering

Descending uses the same fingers in reverse order.
Isolated to the left hand, D Major keeps the familiar 5-4-3-2-1 shape down from the tonic, crossing the third finger over the thumb onto B, then the fourth finger over onto the next octave's E — both black keys, F♯ and C♯, land safely on fingers 3 and 2.
Because the left hand carries two accidentals here instead of one, it is worth its own chart: a wandering left-hand crossing is much easier to catch and fix when the right hand isn't filling in the sound around it.
Once both crossovers land evenly on their own, compare them with the right-hand-only chart for D major or switch to the full tool for the two-hand version.
